Design for Planet Festival 2024

We are excited to announce that pd-m will be attending the Design for Planet Festival 2024, the Design Council's award-winning flagship event focused on supporting the UK design community in addressing the climate and ecological crises. This year’s theme is Planet Positive Business.

We are excited to share our participation in the upcoming Med-Tech Innovation Expo on June 5-6!

We are also delighted to announce that we are to host a panel discussion on the main stage for an entire hour with industry experts.

Titled "Levering Sustainability Advantages Across the MedTech Industry," the session will take place on June 6th from 11:30-12:30 on the conference's main arena.

The panel will feature speakers from large multinational corporations, high-growth startups, and an industry body, providing a rich and diverse set of perspectives on how organizations can make sustainability a competitive advantage.

The session is particularly timely as the NHS in England recently released its net zero roadmap, identifying that 60% of their emissions were attributed to the supply chain. Manufacturers will need to have a publicly available Carbon Reduction Plan (CRP) in place, including their Scope 1, 2 and 3 emissions, within a set deadline.

As the NHS sets new sustainability goals for the supply chain, this session is a must-attend to stay ahead of the curve.
